NHS Pension Scheme – A change in the law that affects you.
As part of the Pension Act 2011 and to help people save more for their retirement, the government requires employers to enrol their workers into a workplace pension scheme (NHS Pension Scheme). This applies to those workers who aren’t already in one, and who earn over £9205 a year.
- Are aged 22 or over.
- Under State Pension age.
All new starters from 1st March 2013 will be subject to the auto-enrolment rules. Please see attached letter for more details
