Whistleblowing

From time to time staff may feel that it is necessary to raise concerns in relation to incidents of malpractice or wrongdoing, we should all be working in an environment that we have confidence in and which is safe, professional and maintains high standards.  Staff working within an area are often the first to notice practices which should not occur.  We owe a duty to our patients and colleagues to highlight inappropriate practices and wrongdoing.  If the service is compromised by malpractice then the well being of ourselves or those of the people we care for may well be put at risk.

If you have any concerns at all, please refer to the 'Raising Concerns' tab on the left of this screen, you should also raise the issue with your manager.
